Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's sons - was born at Woodland Hills, California in 1956. She was the home of her mother and was also a mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick was a gifted singer and performer from the age of 6. She would perform shows using puppets for her neighbors. Following her win in her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was just 6 an old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see if McCormick wanted to get into the entertainment industry. McCormick was commissioned to perform in her first big part in 1964, in the tv spot for Mattels most recent doll, Baby Pattaburp. Later that year she did another commercial for the companys Chatty Cathy doll and was later cast in the show Wind It up until It breaks on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was among 1200 other children who auditioned for the role of the oldest towheaded girl in The Brady Bunch. The sitcom starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed who were newlyweds with the same family as a blended one. The show ran for five years. In her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008 McCormick revealed that during the fifth season of the show, she almost lost her virginity to her screen co-star and brother Barry Williams.
