Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's kids - was born at Woodland Hills in the year 1956. Her mother was at home as a mother. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick started dancing and singing in her early years and frequently performed show-like puppets in front of the kids in her community. When she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 an old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see what she thought about getting involved in the industry of entertainment. McCormick was offered her first significant job in 1964 when she starred in a TV commercial featuring Mattels newest doll Baby Pattaburp. That year that followed, she appeared in another commercial that aired on TV for Chatty-Cathy's doll. Soon afterward, McCormick was chosen by La Jolla Playhouse to play the part of the character It up and It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was one of 1200 children who auditioned for the role of the oldest towheaded girl in The Brady Bunch. The sitcom featured Florence Henderson and Robert Reed newlyweds, who shared a blended-family. The show ran for five seasons. In her autobiography Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008 McCormick revealed that during the shows fifth season she almost lost her virginity to her screen brother and co-star Barry Williams. In the moment, she was just 16 years old and he was 19. She told me that it could have been feasible, but it was never the best timing.
