Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child of Richard McCormick. Her father was a schoolteacher while her mother was a stay-at-home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. McCormick began performing and singing from a young age. She was crowned her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was contacted by Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He was interested in her desire to join the business of show production. McCormick got her first big task when she was cast in the 1964 television commercial of Mattels new baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she was a guest on another company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was immediately selected for her role in the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 200 auditioned kids, played the third of three head-to-head daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969), starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. In her autobiography Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season, she was close to losing her virginity to her screen co-star and brother Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was just 16. This would have occurred, she says. But, the time for our marriage wasn't right.
